Artist Statement

I have worked with my hands in an artistic manner for many years. I started with fabric, then glass, and about 5 years ago I began the journey to become a silver artist. I enjoy the challenge of designing and creating jewelry from sheet metal and wire to a finished piece of jewelry. I work in my studio with music playing and lots of light. I occasionally will design and draw my pieces but frequently I start with a stone and allow the piece to lead me into the design. I loss myself in the process of creating and time flies by.
